JenZap connects gyms and athletes across a network, and networks only work when you can trust what you see. Here's exactly how ours stays honest.
You cannot review a gym you haven't trained at. A review requires a checked-in visit - our servers verify the check-in before a review can even be submitted. Host gyms review each one before it publishes, and can post one public reply. Every review shows the visitor's home gym, because reputation should have a name on it.
"Verified" means a gym completed real business verification with Stripe (the same identity and banking checks banks use), keeps an active liability waiver, and runs a live schedule. Coach credentials show only after their gym verifies them. There is no way to purchase any badge on JenZap - not for gyms, not for coaches, not ever.
If a gym cancels a class you paid to visit, your refund is automatic - including our fee. Every gym's cancellation policy is shown before you pay, never after. And if something goes wrong, every visit has a dispute path reviewed by JenZap itself.
Gyms on JenZap can see exactly what the platform earns from them, itemized, at any time. No hidden take-rates, no surprise line items.
JenZap never sells placement. The gym directory ranks on real signals - activity, verification, reviews from real visits. No gym can pay to appear above another, and that will not change.
Gyms that fake reviews, mistreat visiting athletes, or fail safety basics are removed from the network directory. Members who abuse the platform lose network access. We'd rather have a smaller honest network than a bigger dishonest one.
